Starting your Own School | Teaching English in Belarus
When you enter BriTannia'School in Minsk, Belarus, you could be forgiven for thinking that you have stepped into the United Kingdom. With the British flag draped all around, and souvenirs from countless trips to London you cannot help but feel the urge to speak in English and pour a cup of tea!
That is the idea that Tatiana Antonovich had when she first opened the school. To create an immersive and fun environment, away from the boring textbooks, where local children come come and have a great time with their friends while simultaneously improving their English skills.
What started as a way for Tatiana to spend more time with her kids during her hectic schedule while encouraging them to keep developing their English with their friends, developed into the thriving school which has been open for just over one year now.
Now, for some photos!
Here's Tatiana outside her school:

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to join their classroom via Skype!

All of that English study works up an appetite. Time for a baking class! Some English biscuits, anyone?
And of course, no day would be complete without a tea break with the other teachers...

My challenge for you:
Tell us about a project that you dream of following, whether it's a business, learning to play an instrument or starting a family. Whatever it is, try and describe your dream in detail below!
And I hope you enjoy this conversation between Tatiana and I...
